orc-pack
An autonomous orchestrator for Claude Code. You hand it an issue or a sentence, walk away, and come back to reviewed, tested, committed code with a written summary of what it did and why.
Why one agent struggles with big jobs
An AI coding assistant can only hold so much in its head at once. On a small task that is plenty. On a sprawling one it runs short of room and starts cutting corners. This animation shows the difference a team lead makes. Switch between the plain and technical explanations, or pick any scene.
Three ways to run it
/orcPick something and go
A scout agent reads your GitHub issue board and picks the most valuable issue that is ready to build, then orc carries it through to done.
/orc 123Do this issue
Point it at a specific issue or epic. It skips the scouting and goes straight to planning and building.
/orc fix the Safari date pickerHere is what I want
Describe the work in a sentence. Orc reads the code, turns your sentence into a testable definition of done, and builds it.
Every run ends with one clear line: FINISHED when the work landed, green and pushed, or NOT FINISHED with exactly what a human needs to do to unblock it.
Who is on the team
Orc keeps its own context small and hands the real work to specialists. It sizes each task first, so a one-line copy fix gets one reviewer while a new upload handler wakes the security reviewer. Review and fix loop until only nitpicks are left.
- Scout
- Surveys the issue board and picks the next piece of work.
- Implementer
- Writes the code and its tests for one scoped task.
- Reviewers
- Security, architecture, quality, UI, comments, and test coverage. Only the ones a diff needs are called in.
- Verifier
- Checks every finding against the real code and drops the false positives.
- Runners
- Lint, type checks, tests, and diff stats, reported raw so nothing is glossed over.
